Hirohito Ihara, who founded radicalfashion in Kobe, Japan, speaks of the subconscious influence of his surroundings on his work. He links the sea with his “liking for some kind of nostalgia”. In the purest spirit of abstract expression, Hirohito allows the listeners to experience in his debut full-length, Odori, their own emotions without any guiding elements. Of his piano work, he says, “I have come to like gentle notes created by striking piano keys softly, rather than clear-cut, strong key touches.” Again, he avoids the “clear-cut”. He confesses to a regional influence on his music but consciously tempers it. “I don’t think my music should have too much localness because I want many people around the world to like my music,” he says. Hirohito began playing piano at a young age. As his play matured he “became conscious of the beauty of sounds as a melody.” This awareness was illustrated for him by M. Born in the late '70s, Japan's Takagi Masakatsu is a seasoned audio/visual pioneer whose work has been projected and played in galleries and clubs throughout Europe, the United States, and the Pacific Rim. Mr. Masakatsu trots the globe collecting audio wild track and visual footage for sequencing in his state-of-the-art Silicom studio. Pia, his '00 debut for NYC's Carpark Records, features an array of interesting sounds -- sampled from human beings, nature, and environments -- to which he adds his own ambient textures. После учился в Токийском музыкальном колледже. Его минималистичная музыка богата электронными фактурами и обработанными компьютером вокалом и акустическими инструментами: виолончелью, скрипкой, кларнетом, а так же характерным пианино, используемом на протяжении всех композиций.
В качестве пианиста Kazumasa Hashimoto работал с Японскими проектом World's End Girlfriend и известным музыкантом Souichiro Suzuki. В 2005 году в компиляциях с Ekkehard Ehlers пытался оформить новый жанр наивного звука - "naive sounds". |

BTB is the solo project by Franco Colombo, Systems Engineer, Musician and Producer, born in 1978. Franco has been producing sensitive and emotional electronic music in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina, for many years now. His production is simple and complicated, probably encapsulated under the IDM subgenre, introducing broken melodies and downtempo grooves with a strong pop influence. Homelife is not a definite entity. It's hard to pin down their sound, how many people are in the band or even which band they are in! Nearly every Homelife track has a different line up. Less of a collective, Homelife is more of a pool of musicians whose talents are marshalled by reluctant foreman Paddy Steer. There's a do-it-yourself ethos evident in Homelife. All material is recorded at Paddy's house with musicians doing their bit in small groups. With 15 to 16 contributor's on the most recent album, 'Cho Cho' the piecemeal approach makes sense and Paddy admits that it wouldn't be possible for the whole band to be in the studio at the same time. "It's not like the Monkees where we all in the room together. Ten years ago Homelife wouldn't have been practical but advances in technology have made a project like this possible," he states.
