The guy behind Music Instructor is Holger Trance (born August 10, 1972) who goes by nick name: Holly. He was born in a small German town Winnenden. His life is an neverending moving from one place to another. He changed about twenty times his wallpapers and schools. The reason for this lifestyle is his father Robert who's profession caused often moving to different cities. Finally he ended up in the town of his dream: Berlin.
His artistic skill are developing in Leipzig (Germany), where he studies for last five years in prestigious Mendelssohn Bartholdy School of Music and Theatre. From the very beginning he wanted to become an serious artist therefore very carefully he took singing classes as well as pronunciation and acting classes. A big help was Prince Wolfgang "Wolke" Lenk who gave him lessons of "phrase singing" for one semester. As I said he always wanted to be musician. For his 15th birthday his sister gave him a guitar. From that moment the music became life for Holly. He also learnt by himself how to play on keyboard. He started working hard, and based on his present achievements, we know he really did a good job. Few years later he established a group called "Believe In Spring", however without major success. As a matter of fact this group almost signed profitable contract, unfortunately the label went banckrupt, before the contract was signeds. It didn't make Holly stop from moving forward. Meanwhile, he was equipping his studio with new instruments, was constantly making new demos and sending them to many labels. His version of Ultravox's "Hymn" ended up in the label he is presently recording. His present producers: Triple-M Music loved that remake and decided to help Holly in his carrier. They knew that "Hymn" is a candidate for a Hit and they were far from being wrong. "Hymn" was first officially released track by Music Instructor and became an immediate success in 1995. Relationship between Holly and his producers is very fruitful and brought new hits. Second single "Hands In The Air" is now a huge Hit. More recently Holly released his first album entitled: The World of Music Instructor with his newest single "Dream A Little Dream". Now everybody wants him and a mysterious Music Instructor (A Tin Man - Robot reminding Wizard of Oz) whos identity is still the secret, to play for them and give authographs..

Группа практически подписала выгодный для себя контракт, но к несчастью лейбл обанкротился прежде чем контракт вступил в силу. Однако эта неудача не остановила Holly. Он оборудовал свою студию новыми инструментами и начал делать пробные демонстрационные трэки, рассылая разным лейблам для их оценки. Ремикс "Hymn" (оригинал сделала Ultravox ещё в 1982!!) привлёк внимание лейбла Triple - M Music, с которым и начал сотрудничество Music Instructor.
"Hymn" - первый релиз Music Instructor'а - первый грандиозный успех! Удачное, плодотворное сотрудничество с продюсерами принесло новые плоды, в частности "Hands In The Air" - новый суперхит от Holly и K. Вслед за релизами синглов появляется дебютный альбом "The World of Music Instructor"

Самый специфичный трэк альбома - это "Hymn". В этом сингле помимо классной основы (оригинала песни ) и ковер-версии Music Instructor`а вы действительно можете послушать, как же всё таки делается танцевальный ХИТ :) "Hymn" начинается со слов: "Ladies and Gentlemen. We would like to show you how to make a hit record…" (**итальянская группа Cabballero имеет в своём альбоме потрясный римейк "Гимна" в чисто классическом евродэнсе). Практически, каждая песня начинается со слов "Музыкального Инструктора". Узнать о нём больше можно в трэке "Everybody" начинающегося со слов: "Most people think that robots have no feelings, but that's not true. I'm a machine but sometimes I feel lonely too, because everybody needs somebody to love". В общем, весь альбом состоит из забавных подсказок: как потанцевать - "Dance", что делать если чувствуешь себя одиноким - If You Feel Alone" и т. д. и т. п..
